Sampson is an Information Systems professional specialized in Healthcare IT, Financial Systems, Healthcare Insurance, Telecommunications and Hospitality domains.

Sampson migrated to the US from the UK in 2000 and has consulted for several Fortune 500 companies, as well as a Federal Government Institution. Sampson had founded Edison Technologies during his time in the UK, and authored a strategic design and implementation proposal for the Ghana Government, with a goal to revolutionize the banking system in Ghana, by integrating (networking) all the banks (including deployment of ATM's POS equipment, etc.), thus enabling Electronic Funds Transfer seamlessly between financial institutions.

Sampson is well versed across a breadth of systems, solutions, strategic research and demonstrable expertise in Program / Project Management, Business Analysis and has assisted many organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, in substantial cost savings and thus, achieve better ROI by strategically re-engineering their business processes and re-structuring - earning him recognition amongst his peers as a Business Process Chiropractor. ?He has 17+ years experience in analyzing and designing Systems of varying scope for Private and the Federal sectors (US Government), and has received several awards and accolades for his exemplary work and for delivering solutions on time and within budgets.

Sampson achieved an award of Excellence whilst consulting at the Division of Global Migration and Quarantine at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (National Center for Preparedness and Control of Infectious Diseases - NCPID). He authored the Business Case and Strategy, and successfully managed a project mandated by US Congress and in collaboration with external Federal Agency Executives (US Customs & Border Protection - CBP, Department of Homeland Security - DHS & the Transport and Security Services - TSA) on a mission critical protect. The Project benchmark for quality, transparency and accountability was consistent with standards as defined by the Government Accountability Office (GAO).

Sampson strategically re-designed an FDA Pharmacovigilance system. This Congressionally mandated initiative will leverage emerging electronic healthcare data across the nation, in both the public and private sectors, to identify hazards related to medical products (ADR - Adverse Drug Response) regulated by the FDA. The initiative will require the collaboration and coordination across tens of data collection and analytic nodes and involve more than 100 million patient records.

Sampson obtained a masters degree in the Analysis, Design and Management of Information Systems, from the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE) in the U.K, in 1999.
